Andrey Smirnov

Hello, I am Andrey Smirnov! I am currently in my second year of undergraduate study at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, FL. I am majoring in Microbiology & Cell Science and am obtaining an economics minor. I am on the pre-med track, aspiring to become an oncologist and conduct research in the field.

Over my time at UF, I am starting to build experience to enter this field. I am dedicated to learning, but also applying and sharing the knowledge I already obtain. I volunteer at a leukemia lab, where I help understand how the immune system interacts with solid tumors. I also serve as an undergraduate teaching assistant for general chemistry I.
